Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 18th September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Emily Andrew Events website and to the provision of event planning and related services by Emily Andrew Events ("we", "us", "our").

By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Us

Emily Andrew Events provides event planning, event coordination and related services in the United Kingdom.

Business name: Emily Andrew Events
Business address: 35 Chapel Road, Beighton, Norwich NR13 3LF
Email: info@emilyandrewevents.co.uk

2. Our Services

The services we provide will depend on the package or service you book with us.

Details of the services included in your booking will be confirmed in your proposal, quotation, booking form, invoice or other written agreement.

Any services, products or arrangements not expressly included in your agreed package may be subject to additional charges.

We reserve the right to use suitably qualified or experienced third-party suppliers, contractors or assistants where reasonably necessary to provide the services.

3. Enquiries and Quotes

An enquiry made through our website, email, social media or other communication channel does not constitute a booking.

Any quotation or proposal we provide will be valid for the period stated in it. If no period is stated, we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the quotation at any time before your booking is confirmed.

Prices may be subject to change before a booking is confirmed.

A booking is only confirmed once we have received your acceptance of the agreed services and any required deposit or booking payment.

4. Booking and Payment

The payment schedule for your event will be set out in your quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.

You agree to pay all amounts by the dates specified.

A booking deposit or other initial payment may be required to secure your event date. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, your date is not guaranteed until the required payment has been received.

Where an invoice remains unpaid after its due date, we may suspend or cancel the services, subject to your statutory rights.

Any additional work, expenses or services requested after the original agreement may incur additional charges. We will, where reasonably possible, notify you of such charges before they are incurred.

5. Changes to Your Event

We understand that event plans can change. You should notify us as soon as possible of any changes to your event, including changes to:

• event date or time;

• venue;

• guest numbers;

• event requirements;

• suppliers;

• timings or schedule; and

• services requested from us.

We will do our best to accommodate reasonable changes, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible.

Changes may result in additional fees or expenses, particularly where suppliers have already been booked or costs have already been incurred.

6. Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel our services, you must notify us in writing.

Cancellation terms, including whether any deposit or other payment is refundable, will be set out in your booking agreement or quotation.

Where we have already incurred non-refundable costs or committed to third-party suppliers on your behalf, you may remain responsible for those costs, subject to the terms agreed with you and applicable UK law.

Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply to you.

7. Cancellation or Changes by Us

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the services agreed with you.

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel or make significant changes to the services. Where this occurs, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and discuss appropriate alternatives with you.

Where we are unable to provide the agreed services and you are entitled to a refund under the applicable agreement or law, we will provide the relevant refund.

8. Third-Party Suppliers

Event planning frequently involves third-party venues, caterers, entertainers, photographers, florists, transport providers and other suppliers.

Where we recommend or arrange a third-party supplier, the contract for that supplier's services may be between you and the supplier directly.

Third-party suppliers are responsible for the services they provide, including their own terms, prices, availability and cancellation policies.

We will use reasonable care when recommending or coordinating suppliers but cannot guarantee the performance, availability or conduct of any independent third party.

9. Event Venues and Permissions

You are responsible for ensuring that your chosen venue is suitable for your event and that any necessary permissions, licences or approvals have been obtained, unless this responsibility has expressly been included within our agreed services.

You must comply with the venue's rules and any applicable laws, regulations and safety requirements.

Where we are responsible for coordinating particular venue requirements, this will be confirmed in your booking agreement.

10. Client Responsibilities

To allow us to provide the services effectively, you agree to:

• provide accurate and complete information about your event;

• provide information and decisions within reasonable timescales;

• inform us promptly of any changes;

• provide access to venues or other relevant locations where required;

• make payments by the agreed deadlines; and

• treat our staff, contractors and suppliers respectfully.

Delays or additional costs caused by missing, inaccurate or late information may affect our ability to provide the services and may result in additional charges.

14. Photography and Marketing

Where appropriate, we may request permission to use photographs or videos from events we have planned or coordinated for our portfolio, website or marketing.

We will only use identifiable images of you, your guests or other individuals where we have an appropriate legal basis and, where required, your permission.

You may contact us if you have questions or concerns about the use of event photography.

15. Privacy

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we retain it and your rights in relation to your personal information.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, we will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays or failures of independent third-party suppliers, venues or contractors, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

17. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be liable for delay or failure to perform our obligations where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include, for example:

• extreme weather;

• natural disasters;

• fire;

• flood;

• epidemic or pandemic;

• government restrictions;

• strikes or industrial action;

• significant transport disruption;

• venue closure;

• failure of essential utilities; or

• other events that could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented.

Where such circumstances affect your event, we will work with you to identify a reasonable solution where possible.

18. Complaints

We want you to be happy with our services.

If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@emilyandrewevents.co.uk so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be published on our website with the relevant "Last updated" date.

Changes to these Terms will not retrospectively alter the terms of a confirmed booking unless required by law or agreed with you.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the laws applicable to you.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights regarding jurisdiction.
