Of all of the components that constitute a successful big day, the venue is arguably the most important. Where you celebrate your nuptials with family and friends has to be perfect for your needs, as it will account for 30-40% of your total budget in most cases. There are lots of different styles of venue to consider, but one type which I find is really popular with my clients is an Exclusive Use Wedding Venue.

Last summer I began working on an elegant marquee wedding at Holkham Hall. My couple had booked their venue and knew they wanted a marquee overlooking the lake at Holkham, with their ceremony in the magnificent Marble Hall, but other than that, we had a blank sheet of paper.

I was privileged to be part of the very first wedding at the stunning Ormesby Manor. C&G and their family took over the whole estate for the weekend.
